We didn’t start out with the goal to set up another marketplace. Our founder came from luxury retail background and looked to start a new brand, and faced challenges from sourcing, all the way to getting across the right market and was slowly giving up the idea. We were then looking to start small by selling beautiful and unique products from Burma (Myanmar) at affordable prices and faced an endless list of challenges. There just isn’t a way to do this efficiently and affordably as a seller. There has to be an easier way and cheaper way to sell these great products. We don’t want you to give up on your new brand or selling to the biggest consumer market – US eCommerce market.

So Blink23 was born.

Our Mission

Our mission is to unify makers, buyers and sellers across the world, creating opportunities, improving livelihoods and enriching life’s experiences.

The way the world shops has changed in the recent years. Almost all tourism shopping has stopped during the pandemic. We knew many small businesses around the world with inventory that they couldn’t sell. But they can’t invest in finding a new market or invest in import/export logistics. These businesses couldn’t compete with the big box businesses or the Amazon drop shippers. They made beautiful products and needed a new market. Blink23 does not require any investment, so it’s a great way to sell your existing inventory. It’s a fantastic place to launch a new brand. There are so many new brands across the US with cool products, competing in crowded space. We want to provide a low cost platform and business tools to get their brand name across by leveraging technology and providing affordable logistic solutions.

Our heart is in helping SME globally. We want to connect people. We connect buyers, sellers and makers. We developed a program to help talented people from developing countries find micro seed funding to get their business off the ground and find a sustainable livelihood. We source globally, finding the successful local brand to the smallest and talented seller in rural areas of SE Asia. We’ve visited family legacy looms, lacquerware workshops to a solo entrepreneur without any financial means, sourcing nearby slate to make sustainable products. Our goal is to help their businesses grow, so that they can continue to create more jobs and keep the heritage alive.

Our headquarters is in the US with subsidiary SE Asia and affiliates globally.
